We dig around the base of each exterior, wherever possible, removing mulch, rocks, dirt and grass so that we are able to clean and paint below ground level.
Each of our exteriors paint jobs are all pressure washed very thoroughly to ensure a quality bond between the new paint and existing surface.
On any building with a chalky surface we always recommend a coat of clear Loxon conditioner which helps to bond any chalky residue remaining after pressure washing. Sherwin Williams requires a chalky surface to be conditioned for them to honor their Lifetime Warranty on their paint.
We inspect the entire exterior and caulk any areas where needed. This often includes windows, doors, over bands, stucco cracks etc.
We then paint two coats of the customers choice using Sherwin Williams paint. We prefer to use Superpaint, Duration or Emerald. These are the top three quality exterior paints Sherwin Williams provides. Superpaint should provide your house with a minimum of 5-7 years before the need to repaint. With each step up in quality the color fade resistance will extend several years. Duration has about a 10-12 year color fade resistance and Emerald with about 12-15 year resistance to fade.
